Crane Mountain Cottage found its name from the popular winter recreation mountain just down the road from the cozy Norwegian styled cottage. The Cottage is one of the first structures built in Ferndale in the 1920’s, a town nestled between the Swan and Mission Mountain ranges, four miles outside of Bigfork Montana.
The Cottage includes up and downstairs level, as well as an inviting wrap around porch with breathtaking views of the property. A cozy wood-burning stove and an attractive arrangement of furnishing create a visual blend of both rustic and fresh, simple and country.
Exteriors and Surrounding Area
The Cottage features beautiful surrounding landscapes serving as a perfect backdrop for your photos.
The 1.25 private acres around the 1400 sqft. Cottage include manicured lawns, partial woods, and fruit trees that blossom in the spring. Crickets and an occasional coyote howl will keep you company on starry nights, as will the deer who stop by to munch on fallen apples in the early mornings.
